🇬🇧 Both my last post of 2019, Review – Arencia Go Green Hair Shampoo Bar 🧖🏼, and my first post of 2020, , dealt with haircare products, shampoo and post-shampoo routine respectively. So why don’t we close this circle with a review of a hair care product I’ll probably repurchase? This is because one of the several resolutions I’ve made for this year is to finally get a short haircut, which I’ve never considered doing before because of two main reasons: first, the fear of my face looking even chubbier – which is supposed to be solved in the near future by exercising and dieting; second, my thin hair which might look even flatter. I’ve been working of this last point since last November and now I’m ready to reveal my little secret.

Perciò perché non chiudere il cerchio con una recensione di un prodotto per capelli che probabilmente riacquisterò? Questo perché uno dei diversi propositi per quest’anno è quello di fare finalmente un taglio di capelli corto, che non ho mai pensato di fare prima a causa di due motivi principali: primo, la paura di far sembrare il mio viso ancora più paffuto – che dovrebbe essere risolto prossimamente con esercizio e dieta; secondo, i miei capelli sottili potrebbero sembrare ancora più piatto. Sto lavorando su quest’ultimo punto dallo scorso novembre e ora sono pronto a rivelare il mio piccolo segreto.
🇬🇧 The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density comes in a 60 ml, UV-protective packaging. The serum is watery but is not oil-free. The brand claims that this concentrated formula is designed to support hair health so that it looks thicker, denser, fuller and healthier, which is peptides in our bodies already do and what the formula tries to emulate in order to make this natural process more effective. The technologies present in this formula include REDENSYL™ complex (with Larix Europaea Wood Extract and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract), Procapil™ peptide complex (with Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1), CAPIXYL™ peptide complex (with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 and Trifolium Pratense Flower Extract), BAICAPIL™ complex (with Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract and Glycine Soja Germ Extract), AnaGain™ (Pisum Sativum Extract) and High-Solubility Caffeine (1% net Caffeine by weight), in an ultra-lightweight, emollient base for efficient penetration. The total concentration of these technologies in the formula by weight is 21.15%.

🇬🇧 MY EXPERIENCE: I’ve been using this hair serum for the past two months. Although the brand suggests the product should be used daily on dry, clean hair, I’d rather apply it on my whole scalp the night before the day I’d wash my hair; this choice was made because this serum made my hair look oily but, since it’s a leave-on treatment, I couldn’t use it just one hour before washing my hair. I use it twice a week; that’s probably why I still haven’t run out of my first bottle. Anyhow, I noticed a big improvement: my hair is a bit thicker and fuller, and I noticed the appearance of a lot of baby hair so I’m confident my scalp will get denser soon!
🇮🇹 LA MIA ESPERIENZA: uso questo siero per capelli da due mesi. Anche se il marchio consiglia di applicarlo sul cuoio capelluto pulito ed asciutto una volta al giorno, io preferisco usarlo la sera prima del giorno in cui laverò i capelli. Ho scelto di fare così perché questo siero fa sembrare i miei capelli oleosi ma, visto che il trattamento non prevede il risciacquo, non ha senso applicarlo solo un’ora prima del lavaggio. Lo uso due volte a settimana, per questo probabilmente non ho ancora finito la prima bottiglia. In ogni caso, ho notato un grande miglioramento: i miei capelli sono un po’ più spessi e voluminosi, o ho notato che stanno crescendo tanti baby hair, quindi sono sicura che il mio cuoio capelluto diventerà presto più denso!
